The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated Partnership Development Manager to support the development of externally facing work in the faculty of Business, Law and Applied Social Studies, shaping and contributing to the development of the University's offerings around access to academic expertise, CPD and employability.  

The role involves working closely with Heads of School, the Faculty Director of Innovation and Enterprise, academic staff and UCLan Innovation & Enterprise colleagues to develop and manage partnerships with external organisations to raise the profile of UCLan, securing opportunities for research and CPD delivery by UCLan and support employability of our students and graduates. 

The successful applicant will have substantial experience of partnership development and collaborative working in the field of business, law or applied social studies. Experience of bidding for and securing external funding, project management and extensive experience of a competitive commercial environment are essential.

Excellent external and internal networking skills and the ability to apply such networks to the benefit of the University and its students is a key skill for role along with the ability to co-ordinate a diverse, multi-professional group of academic and support staff. Educated to degree level or with the equivalent professional qualifications/experience, the successful applicant will have a flexible approach to work and the ability to mentor others.
